This is where the old spur crossed the road. The D-500 and the Plymouth are both out at what was the west end of this spur. The new ties end just behind me.

South of the finished section, the track is still in various states of construction. Needs to be spiked, aligned, ballasted, etc.

On 11-Feb-2008, I found this cut of UFIX coal cars sitting on the recently restored SSLV.

Another look at the end of the UFIX cars, as well as the end of track. The ties continue on south, but the rails/ballast end here.
