Caboose 01410 clatters past on the rear of the 5358W as the train clears up at Tabernash. Shortly, they'll meet the eastbound #134 and #17 on this fine September afternoon.

After the 5358 clears, we see this eastbound TOFC train with DRGW 3114 leading a GP30, another GP40(-2), and an SD45. With UPS trailers highlighting the intermodal consist, it's a reasonable guess that this is # 134.

And finally, to end the photos in this album, we see this classic view of the Rio Grande Zephyr at Tabernash, F units still in charge. Taken in September 1976, this scene would continue for another seven years, until the last pair of Zephyrs made a short ...
