D&RGW Class C-16 Narrow Gauge 2-8-0s D&RGW Class C-16 #278 Moving 278 For Restoration

On 15-16 May 2010, D&RGW 278 was removed from the Cimarron River Bridge - where it has been sitting since 1974. The engine, boxcar, and caboose have been moved up inside the NPS storage yard northeast of the Cimarron visitor's center and campground.

These safety lines have been attached to the bridge. I assumed they were for the move only, but as they've cleaned up everything else, maybe they'll be used for additional bridge work. Taken on 29-May-2010.
