On Sunday, 28 Jul 2013, Amtrak CEO Joseph Boardman and other Amtrak officials rode a special move down the Joint Line from Denver (where they'd come in on the westbound Zephyr) to Pueblo. The next day, they'd head out to the TTC at Avondale, presumably to see their new ACS-64s being tested.

While I hadn't planned to go out, the sun finally broke through the fog and rain about 2pm as the move was approaching Colorado Springs. Thanks to Nathan Zachman and Larry Green for updates throughout the morning, keeping me apprised as to their status.
