Matt and Wayne Darling were on their way past the Georgetown Loop on Monday, 7-Aug-2006, when they noticed an empty Silver Plume parking lot, as well as quite a few guys around diesel #21. Asking around, they found up that #12 suffered a broken axle on the conductor's side, and #9 was laid up with a few broken staybolts. They were nice enough to send a few photos they took both of #9 in the shop, as well as the attempted rescue of #12 using diesel #21.
