CB&Q 9900, the Pioneer Zephyr, stops in Bond on 16 Jun 1934 for the opening ceremonies of the Dotsero Cutoff. It will then continue west over the Cutoff to Salt Lake, where it will proceed to the West Coast for an exhibition.
