2013 Week 23: Jun 09 - Jun 15This week's PotW has a very modern flair. On Friday and Saturday, 8 Jun 2013, the second of Amtrak's new ACS-64 electrics moved over Grande rails, first eastward via the California Zephyr, and then south on the Joint Line via a special ferry move. Just think if the Grande had gone through on its plans to electrify the mainline.
