| UP 1989 Arrives in Denver |
These were some of the first shots posted of UP 1989's tarped arrival in Denver, CO, on 12-Jun-2006. The unit, lead by UP 4439 and trailed by four passenger cars (power car UPP 208, Texas Eagle, Challenger, and Feather River), came in as a special move - train symbol SCBDV-11 - from Council Bluffs, IA. The lead motor was removed, and the rest were then moved to a stub track in the fenced parking lot at 1400 West 52nd Avenue to await Saturday's unveiling.
