Southern / NS, MKT and C&NW cars all appeared. Front Range did a car that=
matched the Southern / NS cars. The later McKean car was a homologation o=

Sorry if this seems obvious, but I can't access any of my resources on this=
topic at present... Question is about the single-trailer flat cars such as=
the DRGW used on the Railblazer. I'm not referring to the Front Runners. D=
oes anyone have a number range on these? Walthers and others make models of=
cars in this class, and I'm checking to see how accurate they are.

Basically, I have Front runners on my layout, but their reliability is disa=
ppointing. Keeping lightweight 4-wheel cars on the rail has proven problema=
tic, no matter how much I weight them. I'm looking to replace them with con=
ventional flats, as seen in this photo:
http://actionroad.net/Misc/SPLCO/Railblazer2.JPG

(Trust me. Sorry they are so small in the photo, but there are several on t=
hat train.)

Thanks,
Jim Griffin
