Rio Grande cabooses series 01140 thru 01189 were built by Haskell &
Barker in February and March of 1913. These cars were originally built
with steel center sills and the underframes were reinforced by the D&RGW
in 1938. The vast majority of these cars lasted into the 1950's. The
01157, 01166, 01167, 01173, 01182 and 01189 lasted into the 1960's.
Cabooses 01120 thru 01139 and 01190 thru 01199 were built by the
D&RGW in 1928 with all-steel underframes and closely follow the H&B
design. Many of these cars also lasted well into the 1950's with a few
into the 1960's.
Hope this is of some help.
